Méthode "Et si...... au maximum"

Au cours du processus de conception, vous rencontrez constamment des impossibilités et des obstacles qui, d’après l’accoutumance pratique, portent une solution enracinée et le résultat pourrait potentiellement affaiblir le concept.

Lorsque vous reconnaissez un blocage, il peut être intéressant de poser immédiatement la question « et si » et de décrire intuitivement quelques options qui impliquent l’inverse maximal du problème posé.

Fermé devient ouvert, inaccessible devient accessible, l’utilisation devient réutilisée et une barrière devient une connexion. Pousser ces pensées à l’extrême augmente les chances de succès.

Pour ce faire, il faut préciser qu’en inversant un problème énoncé, de multiples opportunités se présentent pour le projet, sur plusieurs couches. Et la somme des parties devient donc supérieure à l’investissement supplémentaire possible qui pourrait être impliqué.

Method "What if…. to the max"

During the design process, you constantly come across impossibilities and obstacles that, from practical habituation, carry an ingrained solution and the outcome could potentially weaken the concept.

When you recognize a blockage, it can be interesting to immediately ask the ‘what if ’ question and intuitively outline a few options that entail the maximum inverse of the posed problem.

Closed becomes open, inaccessible becomes accessible, use becomes reuse and a barrier becomes a connection. Pulling these thoughts to the extreme increases the chance of success.

To do this, it must be made clear that by reversing a stated problem, multiple opportunities arise for the project, on multiple layers. And the sum of the parts therefore becomes higher than the possible extra investment that could be involved.
