Hi All—Hoping the collective expertise here can help. I have an engine/trans swap project where I’ve installed the 5.2L V10 and DL800 transmission into an Ultima, that was pulled from a 2016 Audi R8 donor car, including factory engine harness and ECMs. The trans was missing the mechatronic/TCU so I don’t have the original to clone. I have a brand new TCU/mech installed and ready to be coded. But because this drivetrain is not in an R8, ODIS won’t work as I don’t have BCM2, key FOB or any other dependencies it requires to unlock the new TCM and code it. I have a couple different chip programming tools (Multi-Prog & OBDStar DC706) so I have the ability to read/write EEPROM and flash files. In fact, I disabled IMMO on the master/slave engine ECMs already. The engine starts and runs/drives (limited). The transmission shifts into D/N/R just fine but won’t shift any higher than second gear when driving. This is because it’s a new mech/TCM and needs to be “unlocked”/coded. I’ve been looking for a donor eeprom and flash file to write to my new/blank TCM to get me going. I believe I can change VIN to match my ECMs and would rerun Basic Settings with VCDS to adapt clutches properly to my trans.
Does anyone happen to have an original eeprom, flash and map file for the following TCU: 4S0927155B, software version 3606. The TCU board is a Continental DQ500 0BH927711F. You would be a life saver!!! This has been a pain in my a$$ to resolve so I'd be willing to pay $$ for anyone who can help me get this issue addressed once and for all.
