🆕 New ORC Research Associates

☑️It was decided at the ORC meeting in Athens in November last year that the International Technical Committee (ITC) - led by chairman Andy Claughton, should divide the Committee into a technical production group and an expansion of designers to oversee suggested changes to the VPP.

🔝The development of this decision is now the addition of several new research associates to our talent pool, including Doyle Sailss’ Stu Bannatyne, Adolfo Carrau from Botin Partners - Naval Architecture , Jez Elliott and Chris Williams from North Sails, Antoine Lauriot Prévost from VPLP design and Adam Scott-Mackie from Malcolm Mckeon Yacht Design in Lymington.

💡The role of these new research associates is to give the ITC feedback on how the ORC product is working in the field, and how ORC should priorities to best serve constituents. ❓For example, should we focus on better force models, or better race management, or a better measurement process?
