Edtech Estonia

Meie juhatuse liige Märt Aro osales natuke rohkem kui nädala eest Brüsselis kõrgetasemelisel Euroopa EdTech üritusel.

Arutelud kinnitasid juba meil olemasolevaid mõtteid:
Euroopas ei ole puudus haridusinnovatsioonist vaid pigem on puudu paremast koostööst, nähtavusest ja usaldusest.

Häid lahendusi on juba olemas. Küsimus on, kuidas neid paremini toetada ja skaleerida.

Olulised mõtted, mis kaasa tulid:
💡 vähem dubleerimist, rohkem olemasoleva võimendamist
🤝 tugevam koostöö poliitikakujundajate ja innovaatore vahel
🌍 ühine digitaristu, mis aitab lahendustel kasvada

Üks põnev idee: Education Innovation Hubs - kohad, kus õpetajad, teadlased ja iduettevõtted päriselt koos lahendusi loovad.

Kui teeme seda õigesti, saab Euroopa olla mitte järgija, vaid suunanäitaja.

ISTP Summit 2026 has come to an end. What a few inspiring days it has been!

It was a pleasure for EdTech Estonia and several innovative Estonian edtech companies to be part of the expo area at the International Summit on the Teaching Profession (ISTP).

Throughout the summit, one theme kept emerging in many conversations: the growing role of AI and education technology in shaping the future of learning.

For many international participants, it was a surprise to discover how distinctive and vibrant the Estonian edtech ecosystem has become. Today, around 80% of Estonian edtech companies export their solutions internationally, bringing innovations developed in Estonia to classrooms around the world.

While the official programme and closing discussions focused mainly on education strategy and policy commitments, the expo area created space for something equally valuable — direct conversations. Many visitors were curious about the solutions developed by Estonian companies and were open to discussing new ideas and collaborations.

We are grateful to everyone who stopped by the expo area, shared their perspectives, and showed interest in the Estonian edtech community.

A big thank you as well to the companies who represented the ecosystem: ALPA Kids, Opiq, Helge, Navicup, Algorithmics Global, Koodtech, Praktikal, Asendusõpetajad, Eliis - Eesti, Examodo.

Events like ISTP remind us that meaningful change in education happens when policy, practice, and innovation meet.
