Tegu on patriootliku koguperesaatega, mille eesmärgiks on muuta kaks Eestis elavat venelast (Sofia ja Jaan) päris eestlasteks. Väljavalitud peavad murdma läbi mitmest väärtusi muutvast väljakutsest ning see paneb vaataja kahele ullikesele kogu südamest kaasa elama. Saate alguses noored lausa vastanduvad riiki juhtivale koalitsioonile, kuid müügihitile omaselt jõuab ka “Maagiline metamorfoos” oma õnnelikku lõppu.
Kelle jaoks, kallis vaataja?
Sofia (20) ja Jaan (22) esindavad Eesti riigi vähemusi, kes erinevad kultuurilise tausta, võimaluste, seksuaalsuse jms poolest. Saatejuht Elina sümboliseerib võimu, mis käsib neil põhjustesse süvenemata kiiresti mugavateks kodanikeks muutuda.
Tegu on ühiskonnakriitilise projektiga, mis osutab humoorikalt riigi ja rahva vahel toimuvale absurdile.

Долгожданная премьера телепередачи для настоящих патриотов - "Магический метаморфоз"

Для вас представлена отечественная передача для всей семьи, целью которой стало перевоплотить двух русских граждан Эстонии (Софию и Яана) в настоящих эстонцев. Участники должны будут пройти испытания в ходе которых изменятся их жизненные ценности - это будет история перевоплощения двух дурашек на сердечное сопереживание зрителей. В начале молодые люди открыто заявляют о своей "трендовой" оппозиции по отношению к правящей коалиции, однако к счастливому финалу передачи, "Магический метаморфоз" ставит все мнения на свои места.
Но для кого же всё это делается, дорогой зритель?
София (20) и Яан (22) представляют меньши́нства населения Эстонии в плане культурного фона, возможностей, сексуальной ориентации и так далее.
Ведущая передачи Элина символизирует власть, которая появляется из ниоткуда и ни во что не вникая наказывает участникам немедленно стать примерными и "удобными" гражданами.
Проект "Магический метаморфоз" это социальная сатира про абсурд происходящий между государством и его гражданами.

There’s a big political demonstration on the 14th of September in Tallinn, Hirvepark organised by Jah vabadusele, ei valedele. We are performing CANADA there (!), so as you can see, 2 very good reasons to book the date. 🎊

so, darlings, as you know, protests are very important in democracy (yes, we know that democracy might not be the right word for current situation in Estonia, but still), thus we went to the protest happening every Thursday at 11.30 at The Stenbock House (Rahukohtu 3) and we are inviting you to come with us next week (8th of August)! Let’s go and tell them that they are not right! 🌈🧡

Some reasons for you to come with us:

1. Being silent in situations like that works as agreeing, because when nobody says anything, then nothing will stop them from going even more radical.

2. If we speak up, then a lot of people will realise that they are not alone, all the LGBT+ peeps, everyone with a different skin color or nationality or whoever feels powerless and marginalised by current dominant discourse. public demostration as such can show them that there are thousands of like-minded people around them and they shouldn’t feel isolated or afraid.

3. Those in power may try to ignore us, but if there are enough protesters then they will feel the need to come up with reasons why all of the protesters are wrong. That is when the debate begins and argument becomes possible.

4. Sometimes protesters win! 💪Of course it may take time but by trying, there is a lot more chance of actually making things happen than by standing by. We may change someone’s mind who is walking past us or make someone step back by making them feel uncomfortable, who knows, but worth a try!

5. Of course, by coming with us, you can chill with us, take a fan-pic, get an autograph, give feedback and chat, but not too much, it should mainly be about the protest not us 😜😜. (just kidding we’re not that confident)
