EFC Norge AS osaleb alates eelmise aasta oktoobrist uue Strand’i keskkooli (Strand VGS) ehitusel.

Tegemist ei ole ainult uue hoonega, vaid ulatusliku laienduse ja rekonstrueerimise projektiga, mis hõlmab:
• uut õppehoonet
• olemasolevate hoonete rekonstrueerimist
• uusi välialasid ja teetaristut

Ehituse algus oli 2025. aastal. EFC teostab objektil:
• välisseinte ehitust
• siseseinte ehitust (karkass- ja kipslahendused)
• lagede ehitust
• akende paigaldust
• uste paigaldust
• katusekonstruktsioonide ehitust
• perforeeritud ja mikroperforeeritud seina- ja laepaneelide paigaldust
• põrandate ehitust

Ehitustööd valmivad osaliselt 2026. aastal, kogu projekt 2027. aastal.

Strand VGS projekt:
• uus õppehoone ca 3 500–4 950 m²
• projekti kogumaksumus kuni ~500 MNOK

Projekt on tehniliselt nõudlik, kuna:
• kombineeritakse samaaegselt uus ehitus ja rekonstrueerimine
• suur hulk tehnosüsteeme (VVS, ventilatsioon, elekter, brann) vajab täpset koordineerimist
• kõrged nõuded tuleohutusele, akustikale ja kasutuskoormusele
• mitme eriala paralleelne töö eeldab tugevat BIM-koordinatsiooni ja logistikat

Valmiv kool võimaldab kuni 9 õppekava ning kasvatab mahutavuse 400-lt õpilaselt kuni 800 õpilaseni. Strand VGS-st saab oluline regionaalne hariduskeskus Ryfylke ja Nord-Jæren piirkonnale.

EFC has been involved since last October in the construction of the new Strand Upper Secondary School (Strand VGS).

This is not just a new building, but a comprehensive expansion and reconstruction project, including:
• a new school building
• renovation of existing buildings
• new outdoor areas and infrastructure

📍 Client: Rogaland Fylkeskommune

Construction started in 2025. EFC is carrying out the following works on site:
• external wall construction
• internal wall construction (steel framing and drywall systems)
• ceiling works
• window installation
• door installation
• roof structure construction
• installation of perforated and micro-perforated wall and ceiling panels
• flooring works

Construction will be partially completed in 2026, with full completion in 2027.

Strand VGS project:
• new school building approx. 3,500–4,950 m²
• total project value up to ~500 MNOK

The project is technically demanding as it involves:
• simultaneous new construction and renovation
• complex coordination of technical systems (HVAC, ventilation, electrical, fire safety)
• high requirements for fire safety, acoustics, and usage load
• strong BIM coordination and logistics due to multiple disciplines working in parallel

The new school will offer up to 9 study programs and increase capacity from 400 to 800 students, becoming an important regional education center for the Ryfylke and Nord-Jæren area.
