A chair, a valet stand, a sculpture. One of those rare pieces that is as useful as it is poetic.

Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 1996, Chambre Close for .Collezioni transforms a daily ritual into an object of quiet beauty. Crafted from solid American walnut and weighing less than 3 kilos, its light, essential structure is inspired by the elegance of Japanese ideograms.

A jacket finds its place. Trousers are neatly folded. Belts and ties rest on discreet hooks. By evening, the chair patiently holds the story of the day.

Available with fabric or leather upholstery, and an exquisite shellac finish that enhances the depth and character of the wood grain.

At during 3daysofdesign, the worlds of .LivingInteriors, & .Collezioni came together.

What made the exhibition particularly memorable was how naturally these brands felt at home in a Scandinavian setting. Different in origin yet aligned in values, they share an appreciation for materiality, longevity, comfort and understated elegance — proving once again that great design speaks a universal language.

Among the highlights were .LivingInteriors' new René Bed, bringing its soft, sculptural language into the sleeping space, 's Yukimi alabaster pendant, and .Collezioni's iconic DC chaise longue.

Visiting .Design during 3daysofdesign always feels like visiting friends who are endlessly inspiring. 🤍

One of this year's highlights was the reintroduction of Model 2095, originally designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1958. 💡

Part of his experimental "2000" series, the luminaire transforms a simple glass sphere into a cascading architectural composition of light. Long before globe-light installations became commonplace, Sarfatti was already exploring how light could create rhythm, movement and atmosphere within a space.

That dialogue between heritage and innovation is what makes .Design so special.

Throughout the showroom, iconic designs and contemporary launches exist effortlessly side by side, creating an environment that feels both deeply rooted and forward-looking. Add a warm welcome, great conversations, Coffee Raves & Aperitivos, and you have one of the most memorable stops of the festival.

If you're planning your next Copenhagen design itinerary, Astep deserves a firm place on your must-visit list for 3daysofdesign. 🇩🇰
