Grade 10 students are collaborating in groups to analyze a 1911 magazine cover, exploring the guiding question: How does the text use techniques to reinforce a certain ideology? To support all learners, they worked with a scaffolded worksheet that guided their analysis. This activity strengthens their analytical skills and prepares them for DP-style questions they will encounter next year.

DP 1 students revisited external growth strategies — including mergers & acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures, and strategic alliances — through a collaborative, inquiry-based lesson designed to strengthen retention and differentiation of key business concepts. Using mind maps, Venn diagrams, and real-world scenarios, students developed ATL thinking, research, and communication skills, while embodying the IB Learner Profile attributes of thinker and reflective.
