Expanding Global Horizons for food sector!

USAID TRADE, in collaboration with the Food Export Council (FEC), held a one-day workshop on International Trade Contracting to equip food sector companies with the tools needed to thrive in global markets.

Participants gained critical insights into drafting clear, legally sound contracts, integrating international standards like Incoterms, and managing risks in global markets. The session also covered dispute resolution techniques, including mediation and arbitration, equipping attendees to navigate complex trade dynamics effectively.

Together, we are enhancing Egypt’s food industry’s global competitiveness and unlocking new opportunities for growth!

Empowering Egypt's Apparel Industry for Global Success!

USAID TRADE, in collaboration with the Apparel Export Council of Egypt (AECE), hosted a game-changing Export Financing and Trade Finance workshop! This one-day intensive workshop provided Egyptian apparel leaders with essential tools and insights to succeed in the global market. Participants gained a deep understanding of trade and supply chain finance, from defining key terms and exploring letters of credit to learning about International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) standards and leveraging the SWIFT network for international payments. The workshop also covered real-world applications of financing solutions, empowering leaders to drive Egypt’s export ambitions forward.

Together, we are moving toward Egypt's ambitious $145B export goal by 2030! Let’s keep the momentum strong for a thriving, globally competitive Egyptian apparel industry.

Strengthening Global Reach for the Printing & Packaging Sector!

USAID TRADE, in collaboration with the Export Council for Printing, Packaging, Paper, Literary, and Artistic Works (ECPP), hosted an impactful one-day workshop on International Trade Contracting. The session equipped companies in the printing and packaging sector with the essential tools and knowledge needed to strategically expand their presence in the global marketplace.

During the workshop, participants gained insights into the various types and standards of international trade contracts, focusing on key elements such as offer, acceptance, consideration, and the intent to be legally bound. Attendees learned how to draft clear, concise, and legally sound contract clauses for sales contracts, agency agreements, and distribution agreements. The session also covered incorporating standard international trade terms like Incoterms into contracts and how to review contracts to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and optimize outcomes.

The workshop emphasized the importance of pre-contractual due diligence, the contract negotiation and drafting process, and effective techniques for dispute resolution. Participants explored the role of international organizations in resolving trade disputes, and discussed the various dispute resolution methods, including arbitration, mediation, and litigation. With this valuable knowledge, printing and packaging companies are now better equipped to navigate the complexities of international trade contracts and mitigate potential risks.

Unlocking Global Opportunities for the Chemicals Sector!

USAID TRADE, in collaboration with the Chemicals and Fertilizers Export Council (CEC), hosted a one-day training workshop focused on How to Create an Export Strategy. This insightful session provided chemicals sector companies with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate international markets and expand their global footprint.

Participants learned how to assess their business’s export readiness, identify target markets using data-driven strategies, and develop a robust export strategy aligned with business goals. The workshop covered key areas such as competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and the creation of detailed export action plans. Attendees also explored risk management, market research tools (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE), and effective marketing techniques to maximize profitability in international markets.
With hands-on case studies and practical insights, participants left the workshop equipped to make informed decisions and lead successful export initiatives.
