What is new about Phase TWO of EGAPP?

1. Adding more Standards:
a. Drug and Therapeutic Committee
b. Antibiotic Stewardship
c. Medication Preparation
d. Medication Utilization improvement project

2. Adding two Separate competitions:
a. Best Antibiotic Stewardship Program
b. Best Medication Utilization improvement project

3. Adding the Concept of : White List and Green List
• White list : this list shall include all new hospitals which needs to be oriented and educated about the competition standards and how exactly to implement them .(i.e., Learners )
• Green list : this list shall include GAHAR accredited hospitals and EGAPP awarded hospitals which are willing to help and guide one or more of the hospitals in the white list to get more oriented and educated about the competition standards and how exactly to implement them. (i.e., Mentors)
• Whenever any of the whitelist hospitals gets recognized or awarded as an EGAPP Winner, their mentors shall be recognized or awarded at the same levels of awarding or recognition.
