IQ vs. EQ: What's the difference and which one matters more?

We often assume that having a high intelligence quotient (IQ) is the key to success. But research shows that emotional intelligence (EQ) may actually be an even more important factor.

IQ measures your ability to learn, reason, and solve problems. EQ, on the other hand, is your capacity for emotional awareness, regulation, and interpersonal skills.
