You deserve acknowledgement, you're worth so much more. If someone out there mistreated you, someone else knows quite well what you're worth. You deserve to be noticed and not only cause you're making enough effort to be. If they aren't happy that you're just there by their side, then it's not your fault and doesn't mean that you're not making enough effort. You deserve to be acknowledged by your good nature not to mention your good gestures. People don't highlight all sort of things they do to prove it, we're just grateful for their presence.
