Harnessing Innovation through Virtual Exchange - HIVE Program

Our Story

The Harnessing Innovation through Virtual Exchange (HIVE) Program is a virtual exchange initiative with the goal of building university students’ intercultural competencies and framing their discipline-specific knowledge in a local and international context so that they are equipped to succeed in our interconnected world and can help address important global challenges. HIVE will use virtual exchange technology to form peer-to-peer relationships between university students in Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, the West Bank, and the United States who are enrolled in a diverse range of courses. Students will grow their collaboration and communication skills, intercultural understanding, and civic and global engagement by working together to complete small projects.

HIVE Program is funded by The Aspen Institute Stevens Initiative through the Institute of International Education (IIE).
