Basic DNA Sequencing Workshop
Colors For Research is pleased to announce the first workshop on DNA sequencing.
This workshop is organized as part of its mission in education, research and service to the community.

Objectives
- Understand how the automated DNA sequencer works
- Understand how dideoxynucleotides can be used to obtain DNA sequence information in a chain termination assay.
- Understand how sequence reading can be automated using fluorescent ddNTPs
- Understand that errors occur in sequence reads and how these errors can be detected.
- Assemble and analyze the sequencing data.

Registration is now opened for our Conventional PCR workshop !!
for 3 days :
1- first day will include 4 lectures
2- second day practical work including DNA and RNA extraction and measuring their concentrations using the nanodropper
3- third day PCR amplification and detection of the PCR product using the gel electrophoresis and 2 lectures on the electrophoresis and troubleshooting

workshop fees :
1st day only registration = 600LE
3 days workshop registration = 1200LE

First Day will be in the National Research Center El-Dokki and the second and third day will be in colors for research Lab one of clinilab companies El-Ethad Square Maadi

Certificates will be from NRC and Colors for Research
registration Deadline is the completion of the students Number according to the lab capacity
