Java Developer:

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Use your engineering background and development experience to participate in developing software modules for new services and learning existing solutions to add features. This will get you through full development cycles, deployment and launching the delivered solutions.
- Practice self time management to plan your tasks, report progress and dynamically prioritize your activities to guarantee timely delivery of assignments.
- Our customers have a very dynamic and competitive market and they rely on us to support them with carrier grade quality, flexible solutions and fast delivery. No need to say how this is challenging – and hopefully exciting as well – and requires excellent collaborative teamwork.
- Frequently acquire new telecom knowledge and search for advanced programming techniques and tools.

Qualifications and skills:
- B.Sc in Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
- Ideally 1-3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of software engineering.
- Practices of Object Oriented development, and implementing Java enterprise applications.
- Prior experience in handling production issues and support.
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux environment is a plus.
- Awareness of agile development process is a plus.

Java Team Leader:

Edafa offers diverse telecom Value Added Services (VAS) in the different VAS domains and Payment is one of the promising and challenging domains. Edafa seeks for a motivated and committed team leader to lead the payment development team and drive the evolution of its payments products.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Use your engineering background, accumulated development hands-on experience and technology practices to propose a roadmap for payment product(s). This is expressed in terms of architecture/design changes and best-fit implementation technologies, with great attention to carrier grade standards in terms of performance and reliability.
- Continuously drive the business analysis of new projects requirements in the payment domain and deliver technical feasibility with proper selection of development technologies, and integration and communication protocols.
- At the heart of the role is driving projects planning, prioritization and participating actively with other team members in development to ensure a steady work stream that is capable of timely delivering the different projects.
- Ensure team members keep compliance with our development process and balance work assignments within team for best knowledge sharing and personal development. New team members should be productive within the team in 4 weeks.
- For new telecom protocols and development technologies, you lead and participate in the challenging development of Proof Of Concepts and presenting live demos.
- Continuously acquire practical knowledge of telecom business, development technologies, design patterns and best practices for development process and work procedures.

Qualifications and skills
- B.Sc in Computer Engineering/Computer Science.
- Practical experience in software engineering, with hands-on experience in implementing the different tiers of Java enterprise applications.
- Practical experience in conducting business analysis and proposing architecture and design for enterprise applications that meet the business requirements.
- Prior experience in leading small development team of 4-5 developers for a successful delivery of enterprise applications, driving the team through the whole development cycle starting from business requirements and ending with system deployment and going live.
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux environment, and mastering different set of development tools, such as version control and building and testing automation.
- Practices in using project management and task management tools.
- Awareness and preferably real practices of agile development process.
