Course instructor:
Dr. Mohamed Mansour is a geotechnical engineer with over 3 years of practical experience in Canada and overseas. He has been involved in the design of a wide variety of geotechnical engineering projects. His design experience comprises the design of shallow and deep foundation systems, ground settlement calculations, design of earth retaining structures and shoring systems, slope stabilization analysis, preparation of ground improvement plans and site investigations.

In addition to his practical experience, Dr. Mansour served as a teaching assistant at Western and Cairo universities where he taught undergraduate level geotechnical engineering design courses. Moreover, Dr. Mansour has several publications and has received several awards for his excellence and contribution to the geotechnical engineering field.
