Cyber warfare is an expanding area of study as cyber operations become more prevalent.

This session introduces two new approaches to studying cyber security with OPNET Modeler®. The first is an effects-based approach, where the discrete event simulation models are enhanced with cyber capabilities to study the effect a given cyber scenario has on a mission.

The second approach uses System-in-the-Loop (SITL) and a large set of virtual machines to create a test range where real software can be rapidly deployed, tested, and re-configured.
