The film had its world premiere a few days ago at ’s Critics Week, The Hollywood Reporter called it ’s Hidden Gem. It’s El Zohairy’s directorial debut, written by him and Ahmed Amer , and co-produced by French producers Juliette lepoutre and Pierre Menahem (Still moving) along with Lagoonie Film Production (Shahinaz El-akkad ); Mohamed Hefzy - محمد حفظي , ); Derk-Jan Warrink and Koji Nelissen (Kepler Film, Netherlands) and Giorgos Karnavas and Konstantinos Kontovrakis (Heretic, Greece). Film Clinic Indie Distribution handles the film’s distribution across the Arab world.
