💡Here are my 5 top tips for leaders who want move towards an agile culture:

✔1. Focus – Collectively focus your energy on a few things. “Where focus goes energy flows” (Tony Robbins)
✔2. Clarify values - Values give direction to how people work, behave, make decisions, plan, and execute their tasks. “Values are like lighthouses; they are signals giving us direction, meaning, and purpose.” (Recruiter Journal)
✔3. Role model – Start with yourself first. Your own habits, beliefs and ways of thinking shape your behaviours and interactions. “A leader is one that knows the way, goes the way and shows the way” (John Maxwell)
✔4. Walk the walk – pay attention and recognise and incentivise the behaviours you want to see and discourage the behaviours you want to move away from. “We have to walk the walk, not just talk the talk” (Paul Kivel)
✔5. Start small – For successful behaviour changes, don’t rely on motivation alone, rather work on making very small seemingly natural changes. Partner a new behaviour with an existing activity and see small routines become a catalyst for bigger change. “Tiny habits lead to big changes” (BJ Fogg)

🔶Drucker famously said “culture eats strategy for breakfast”. This statement has never felt as true to me as it does now. We find ourselves in uncertain and volatile times. The only thing we know is that we don’t know what tomorrow brings.
