Social cohesion and resilience don’t mean much if only some regions get to build them.

That is the focus of Inclusion, Cohesion, and an Expanded Interregional Architecture, the third of three action tracks structuring the Fourth Interregional Dialogue on Education and Development. The track brings together youth leadership, evidence-informed policy, community-based research, science diplomacy, university-community engagement, social cohesion, resilience and peacebuilding, with a focus on expanding the interregional architecture toward new regions and partners.

How can interregional cooperation help build more inclusive science systems that enable women scientists to participate, progress and lead?

Organized by Obreal, the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and UNESCO, the webinar “Women in science across regions. Connecting knowledge, talent and solutions on the Road to Addis Ababa” will explore that question next Wednesday, October 21, at 2:00 p.m. CEST.

With speakers from OWSD, UNESCO, the University of Zimbabwe and the Nepal Leadership Academy, the session brings together voices from different regions and institutions. It is part of the Fourth Interregional Dialogue on Education and Development, and will help prepare the ground for the gathering in Addis Ababa in December.
