EnduroGP Update! Round 4 in Fafe, Portugal 🇵🇹
Extreme heat, heavy dust and terrain that sat somewhere between sand and rock made for one of the most challenging rounds of the season so far.
David Herbreteau suffered a serious crash on Day 1, injuring his thumb but fighting through the pain to finish the day. By Day 2 the injury was too severe to race and he made the difficult decision to sit out.
struggled to find rhythm on Day 1 but after a detailed debrief and setup changes overnight, he felt noticeably more comfortable on Day 2. The feeling improved but the speed we needed wasn’t quite there yet.
Not the result we wanted but the lessons are clear. Round 5 is again in Portugal next weekend and we’ll be ready.
At Erzberg the mountain is not your only problem. Some sections at Erzberg are so packed that you could play dominoes with the riders behind you.
