We realized that Human Resources development became one of the main themes for Awara IT in the first half of this year. We actively expanded the team in various countries and took part in the competition at 5th International Conference HR Brand Central Asia. We helped our customers automate processes and increase employee engagement with gamification. We held many webinars and workshops, business breakfasts and business dinners, talked a lot with general managers, and even more with those who are responsible for the human potential of various businesses.

The importance of HR in corporate world is constantly increasing since 2020. It has become the norm for HR specialists to join C-boards, becoming drivers of change and agents of innovation.

This applies to companies that:
✅ Are growing rapidly and need qualified employees or need to retrain their current staff.
✅ Faced with the current problems of the labor market. For example in retail it crucial to reduce employee turnover and maintain loyalty.
✅ Need to reduce costs, increase efficiency, focus on boosting employee's satisfaction.

The development of human capital is multifaceted, so modern HR approaches can bring benefits. Awara IT was honored to participate in the HR Brand Central Asia Conference, where we submitted a project for the Best CIS HR Brand nomination. Although we didn't win, making it to the list of finalists was a significant achievement. Our HR Business Partner Shoira Ibragimova also had the opportunity to meet many colleagues and explore various projects, gaining valuable insights to enhance our internal HR solutions.

Our colleagues, Yulia Iostman, Business Development Manager, and Liudmila Nicheporuk, Awara IT Academy Lead, attended different events in Europe and Asia, incl. Human Capital Days, HR Business Forum, and our own HR Business Breakfasts in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan having a fantastic opportunity to showcase Awara IT's innovative tools and their potential to transform business processes. We're excited about the future discussions and collaborations ahead!

How active have you been in the HR field this year?

🔋 Less energy consumption means more calculations ⬆

We like to ask experts what they are interested in beyond today's projects and what news attracts their attention. Our last conversation provided insights on energy efficiency. Vitaly Borodin, Director of Innovative Products at Awara IT, shared his thoughts:

"It will soon be possible to reduce the energy consumption required for AI operations by more than 10 times. Researchers at the UC Santa Cruz have eliminated a very resource-intensive computing unit, making 100 W·h sufficient—similar to a bright light bulb. For instance, the computers with graphics adapters we currently use consume 1200 kW·h. This significant reduction will lower the cost of equipment, as the high energy consumption of video cards and other components largely determines the expense.

Exciting news also came from Geely, who are closely competing with Tesla Motors. They introduced a new military-grade solid-state battery for next-generation electrical engineering. This battery is more compact, does not ignite when damaged, and can be thrown. More importantly, its energy density is much higher than existing batteries.

Why is this significant? The battery is available not only for cars but also for other devices. This means our phones might last a week on a single charge instead of just one day. This marks a new era, as our smartphones, which are currently 'wireless', are still tied to chargers and power banks.

Over the past two years, there have been many such innovations, including from Panasonic Chemical. However, the key difference is that these updates are now coming from production departments rather than just research teams.

Having worked with Chinese companies, I know how quickly and efficiently they refine devices and eliminate flaws. It can be expected that these new products will soon enter the market and revolutionize our technology."

Education is a key part of our services. Awara IT specialists have conducted workshops and training sessions for various users, from beginners to advanced, covering general tasks to specific industry needs. Also we work closely with government agencies and ministries as a trusted partner in organizing training.

Today, we are grateful to the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for their appreciation of Awara IT workshops on "Secrets and lifehacks for working in MS Word and PowerPoint" for civil servants. Let us to quote official letter:

"Following the direction set by the Head of State on the collaboration between state and business, this interaction serves as a bridge for sharing experience between public policy and business. During the training, 3 groups of civil servants, guided by the workshop speaker, explored the tools in MS Word and PowerPoint in detail.
