The last few weeks has left me emotionally exhausted. My body aches and I feel grief and rage at a cellular level.

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

For many of you your work has just begun. Unpack the history you have been taught, learn how you became white (the concept of whitness) and the history of courageous white folks working to undo racism. Read from the canon of African American literature. Both will stoke the fire in your belly and guide you as you work in your communities to dismantle systematic, inherited and internalized racism. Commit yourself to the long haul. Now is the time for action - and that will look different for each person and that is ok as long as you stay committed to digging deep and being uncomfortable... .for a while.

I have HOPE that we are all witness to a global shift in consciousness and that from here we can begin the long process of examination and healing.

Following her heart and lure of the Mediterranean lifestyle relocated to Barcelona after having a successful Pilates business in New York City for over a decade. With 23 years of international teaching experience she has taught the Pilates Method to a wide range of individuals looking to improve their health, well-being and performance. Maria gives individual and small group classes in her studio in Sant Cugat and also provides online sessions.


Siguiendo a su corazón y enamorada del estilo de vida mediterráneo, se mudó a Barcelona después de más de una década desarrollando un exitoso proyecto de Pilates en Nueva York. Tras 23 años de experiencia internacional como formadora, ha enseñado el método Pilates a una gran variedad de personas que buscan mejorar su salud, bienestar y rendimiento. Maria da clases individuales y en pequeños grupos en su estudio de Sant Cugat y también ofrece sesiones online.
