We’re very happy to present a special evening of Palestinian film and video art, held in remembrance of exile and marking 78 years since the Nakba.

Curated by Claudia Schäfer-Tabraue (), and organized in collaboration between Nūn Café Cultural (.bcn) and la prole (), this screening brings together works by Palestinian artists that explore how the memory of place persists after displacement.
Across the works, memory emerges in fragments - through recurring narratives, embodied gestures, personal archives, and first-person testimony. Places that can no longer be fully returned to persist nonetheless: carried across generations, transmitted through intimate forms of remembrance, and continually reimagined. From those who experienced these histories directly to those who inherit them at a distance, this evening of screenings reflects on how identity is shaped as much by absence, rupture, and displacement as by presence itself.

The evening will open with a short introduction by the curator, followed by an informal gathering at Nūn with food and drinks, offering space for conversation and collective exchange.
