We analysed 2 billion clicks. Here's what ad fraud actually looked like in 2025.

The Opticks Ad Fraud Report 2025 is out, with detection data fresh through Q1 2026! Across 500+ advertisers and 243 territories, a few findings stood out:
🎯 45.3 million good bots (10.9%): Google crawlers, ad verifiers, site health checkers. They identify themselves and never touch your ad budget.
🎯 370.9 million bad bots (89.1%): they fake clicks, fill forms, steal data, and drain budgets. The sophisticated ones are almost indistinguishable from real users.

And over half of all invalid traffic now comes from automated software.
