But, but, but what do it meeaannnn, exactly?

TLDR: 50% less bitcoin is now produced daily than yesterday; this programmed halving occurs every four years (the exact opposite of "money printing," i.e., inflation, the literal root* of all evil).
Bitcoin is now officially harder to extract/obtain/come by than gold now, and because of this, bitcoin just 100% took the title:
"The hardest money to ever exist under the sun."

It means that you can pull $1,000 worth of "new" gold or $1,000 worth of "new" oil easier and cheaper out of the ground, than you can obtain $1,000 worth of "newly-issued" bitcoin. But to get more gold or oil, you just dig harder.
Quoting Jack Mallers, in order to get more bitcoin tho, "You have to invent time travel, because the only new bitcoin that exists is still in the future." You can't get there from here, you can only buy it from someone who has it now.
And we're not selling.

More? Oh you know I got more:
In the beginning, 50 new bitcoin were issued appx every 10 minutes to one computer at random participating in "securing the network" (So 300 new bitcoin per hour x24 = 7,200 per day) added to the available supply/market ...

And lo, nobody cared ...

One day, the spirit prompted one Lazlo to offer 10,000 btc to whosoever would pay for two pizzas delivered to his place. And someone from the bitcoin network, yet across an ocean, agreed; and the timechain saw that there was now a market value of about three cents, and it was good.

Then, in the fullness of time, this 50 "per ten-minute block" number halved. Only 25 new bitcoin were issued, appx every ten minutes (150 per hr; 3,600 per day). The first halving occurred without a hitch, and bitcoiners worldwide saw that this was good. Realll good ... "Ummmm guyyys, this is going to work ..."
And those to whom it was revealed that this was indeed going to work, started buying.

And upgrading their computers to only mine bitcoin, screw the internet and I can add on paper. "Computer: Divert all power systems to only mining bitcoin and operating the cooling fans."

And it was so.
Some even sold chairs.

One got drunk and coined the word "hodl"

And it was very good.

Then there was 12.5 / 75 / 1,800 ...
Then there was 6.25 / 37.5 / 900 ...
For the past four yearsish, tik tok next block and 900 new bitcoin were released to the open market daily. The news told you not to buy because it's evil, right? Meanwhile the news, the banks, the governments and even Fidelity Investments were mining, buying, hodling, and filling the headlines with the top 10 or 20 reasons why you should avoid bitcoin, but really just so that they could continue buying on the cheap.
And that was bad. Very bad. Evil, actually.And verily, you believed their lies.

But one by one, an angry swarm of cyber hornets formed, all saying "You know what? Ima buy some anyways. And so should you, friend. I'll show you!"
And for years, it has been very good.

Then badly beaten, after years of unsuccessful fighting and trying to ban bitcoin, suddenly the enemy relented. "Legalize it. Don't criticize it" won the day, simply because the lizards hung their heads in shame and no longer had any choice in the matter. We The People of erf have won friend (!) whether you know it yet or not.
Glory glory hallelujah, Bitcoin just crushed the World Economic Forum and no reporter told you. Bitcoin flipped the bird to the Federal Reserve, and God publicly flipped the Wall Street money changers to where for the first time in bitcoin's 15-year history you can call your (credible) broker and say "Hey yeh, switch me over to 5% bitcoin - stat!" (Except it's just paper bitcoin IOUs they offer, so see link in comments to actually OWN bitcoin.)

Oh and those 900 bitcoin per day that were being mined? Now that it's "regulated" BlackRock alone is currently buying 13,000 bitcoin per DAY. One company. Buying 13,000 PER DAY, when only 900 are even being issued. It's running out fast folks, cos other companies are buying too, look it up.
And countries. Maybe you should think about it too?
Oh yeh, the halving!
As of today, new epoch (as we say) = only 450 per day, from originally 7200 and nobody card, and still declining every four years until ... 0
So yeh. Supply is decreasing; Demand is increasing ...
At this point, bitcoin is not a risk, it's not a gamble, it's not speculation.
At this point bitcoin is an intelligence test, and it's pass/fail.

*Money printing is indeed the embodiment of "the love of money." Jesus said "count the cost" before going to war, because limited resources means you have to be strategic and wise in your spending. Or make peace.

ONLY GOD has the power to say "Let there be..."

Governments who print money are claiming deity status, by saying
"Let there be value, and let it be spent on tanks and bombs and jet fighters and soldiers to do our bidding."

Bitcoin is the first money in history that completely obey God's laws in honest weights and measures, and especially in NOT ROBBING the people of our spent time and labor, by eroding our savings thru "targeted" inflation or "shaving" the precious metal content over time and calling it samesies.

Quite the opposite is truth: the more people that want bitcoin, the more valuable what you hodl becomes.
