More than love for Britney

Hey there! I’m Rowena, I’m a Chilean illustrator and artist.

Now, I’m going to tell you a little about my story. Everything started on 2012, it was a good year for Britney, she was just starting X Factor and I wanted to show my deep admiration for her through art. For that reason, I decided I would start making digital fan arts about her, it was a total new ground for me.

From the beginning, I used Paint Tool SAI as my main tool and drew with my mouse! (didn’t have money for a tablet) My first posts were on my Tumblr account, which is those years was very popular, just as Pinterest. They were very simple and sometimes without movement at all.

Later on, by continuosly posting and updating, her official account on Tumblr and Pinterest started following me. That was a key moment which encouraged me to continue on this. Along with this, I got my first tablet and made everything in my power to improve, from trying different tools to learn from digital artists I admired, such as Artgerm and Sakimi chan.
