🌍 We’re proud to have participated in the 6th edition of PIANC MedDays 2025, a landmark event that brought together leaders and innovators in port and marine engineering across the Mediterranean and beyond.

🚢 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙟𝙪𝙩𝙡𝙖 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 🇸🇻
As part of the expansion of the Port of Acajutla in El Salvador, we carried out a Real Time Simulation Study to evaluate the feasibility of container ship maneuvers at the new terminal.

🔍 The project involved several key phases:
1️⃣ Collection and analysis of updated nautical and environmental data
2️⃣ Development of numerical and 3D models of vessels and port areas
3️⃣ Ex*****on of real-time simulation programs

🧭 The simulations were conducted using full mission bridge setups operated by pilots, with part-task bridge operations managed by an experienced tug master. Our instructor coordinated the control room operations using the remaining tugs. All activities were supervised by senior engineers and masters, ensuring technical rigor and safety.

👀 A representative from Haskoning attended the simulation sessions, contributing to the collaborative and multidisciplinary nature of the project.
