FRESH FOOD FRIDAY - for the Madrid folks, I continue to cook on Monday’s and Friday’s: healthy, tasty, freshly prepared meals, dips, platters, salads and more for take out and delivery. Tomorrow stars ultimate comfort healthy food: a cassoulet (a vegetarian and meat version), with lots of fresh herbs, alubias de la granja, crispy kale, and more. Served with nice crusty wholemeal bread and whipped salted butter. Get ready for a friday night on the couch with a blanket and a steaming bowl of this goodness!

HIGOS - yes it’s that time of year again: nice fresh figs in abundance. Too bad my neighbour cut her tree so I now have to buy them (thanks Juliette for those last septembers!) but they taste so good. Especially with roasted sweet red onions, goat cheese and walnuts.
