How the heck did evenepoel win that? I thought he was going to get well beaten on that summit finish. I am pleased he won though.

Well, this one's aluminium, so it's not far off.

A viewer sent me these photos of his Canyon bottom bracket shell. The first thing that jumps out is the eccentricity. The bearing bores don't even appear to share the same centreline.

I think this is another case of being machined before welding and then a lack of stress relief afterwards. Those MTB muppets who worship BTR fabrications will probably be along shortly to justify this crap reaming, if there is any.

Anyone had any similar issues?

Ref Pogacacars tyre choice. To add more to the debate for wide vs narrow tyres and for those interested. One of my viewers (a student at Eindhoven university) sent this chart in. It's a graph showing attenuation vs frequency for 25 and 32 mm tyres. the advantage from the fatter tyre is between 20Hz and 80Hz. Beyond that, there is no real gain. So those who said the tarmac was smooth have a valid point.

With all that said, I'm sure Pogi's evening 'orange' juice has more effect.
