Patty Magic Weddings

My beautiful mum Miryam -the sun and heart of my life — passed away peacefully on Friday, 19th February at 23:58 (5:58am Spanish time).

At 84 years old, she simply had no more strength left to fight another diagnosis of bone cancer. The past few months have been incredibly hard. She was in so much pain, and each day she grew more tired. All she wanted in the end was peace — no more treatments, no more suffering — just rest.

I travelled home to be with my brothers, because that was her only request. She always asked me , “Please look after my boys. Don’t abandon them when I’m gone.”

We said goodbye yesterday afternoon. Seeing so many people come to honour her, to share stories, tears, and prayers, was deeply comforting. It reminded us how many lives she touched.

My mum was strength wrapped in kindness. She carried so much on her shoulders, yet she always smiled. She was always singing, always praying, always thinking of others before herself. She protected, she nurtured, she gave — endlessly. Her faith was unshakeable, and her heart was pure.

I will be taking a few days away from media and the computer until next week, to allow myself the space to feel and process everything. I have been holding my emotions inside to stay strong and continue my work, but now I need a little time.

I will be working from home over the next few weeks. There is nothing urgent pending, and I will begin responding to emails again next week.

Married at El Salvador church -Nerja 25.10.2025

All the way from Galway with their closed family and friends to celebrate their union in Nerja .
My biggest wedding so far 194 ..I think Nerja was busy this weekend. The hole church was taken.

I have a great time planning their wedding such a lovely couple so kind & generous .

For their wedding there was a very special request from Johnny , he wants to have their own family priest ,Fr Patt who made the ceremony so personal and Fun .. just love him ,fantastic sense of humor.& their Band the Risers…what a pleasure to work with them .. brought in a bit of Ireland to Spain .. lovely songs all in Irish and during the cocktail hour there a few already dancing to their tunes .
The celebrations continue at Cortijo bravo with the Jacky Brown Band and Dj Miles .
Nora and her team were in charge of hairs & makeups.
Dee on photography and David on videography.
Ana Marie Florist did the flowers for the day .
Gida besides been my extra hands on venue also printed the welcome sign and other extra decor that Aoife likes.

The dancing went on until 2:30am with Dj Miles who played Irish songs and the Jacky brown band added on the fun … great music , lots of drink and plenty of fun and laughter.
To my extra legs and hands on the day thank you Matt & Jamie (got a good training at this wedding)

To Aoife and Johnny we like to wish you all the best for the future …Johnny this will be the best match of your life …. Thank you for the lovely card and your generosity 🥰With love Patty 💋
