PURIFYING PAINTS
05/06/2026
🌍 World Environment Day
Every material we produce and use has an environmental impact.
Reducing that impact is not the result of a single innovation or certification, but of continuous improvements across the entire lifecycle of a product.
At Graphenstone, this means working to optimise resources at every stage:
♻️ Designing products with circularity principles in mind.
🪣 Using packaging made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and designed to be recyclable.
💧 Reusing water within our manufacturing processes.
🏭 Extending the useful life of surplus stock, discontinued products and still-usable materials through our Factory initiative.
🤝 Supporting local community projects through material reuse and collaboration.
Beyond production, responsible resource management also includes reducing waste, reusing materials where possible and ensuring products are managed appropriately at the end of their useful life.
Sustainability is not a destination. It is a process of continuous improvement.
As manufacturers, businesses and users, we can continue finding better ways to reduce the impact associated with the built environment.

On this International Recycling Day, we want to ask a question that matters more than any claim.
At Graphenstone, we work with mineral-based formulations, materials selected according to circularity principles, post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) packaging, and products designed to last longer and optimise resources.
In addition, many of our products are certified by Cradle to Cradle® (C2C), a global standard based on circular economy principles that evaluates areas such as material health, circularity, responsible resource use and environmental impact.
Today, we do not only want to talk about what we are already doing.
We also want to open the conversation.
What real actions could help transform the way paint is produced, used and managed within the built environment?
We are open to ideas, collaborations, partnerships and new ways of creating more responsible and healthier spaces.

Performance testing updated to maintain CE marking compliance for our exterior coatings.
CE marking confirms that a product meets the essential requirements of the European Union in terms of safety, health and environmental protection.
For exterior coatings, it also validates suitability for applications such as concrete protection in accordance with UNE-EN 1504-2.
At Graphenstone, quality assurance and regulatory compliance are embedded in a continuous process.
We welcome collaboration with partners and distributors who place compliance and technical performance at the core of their activity.

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are emitted by many construction materials and can significantly impact indoor air quality. For this reason, emissions must be measured and verified.
At Graphenstone, we develop mineral-based formulations with extremely low VOCs content, resulting in emissions at near-zero levels.
Our coatings are supported by independent certifications such as Indoor Air Comfort Gold (Eurofins) and A+, meeting some of the most demanding European standards for indoor air quality.
Not all paints perform the same.
As part of our international growth, we are looking to collaborate with distribution partners aligned with this approach to responsible and high-performance building materials.
