Celebrating Swedish Midsummer with our community ❤️🇸🇪

Moving countries often means leaving friends, family, and traditions behind. And as a community filled with people from all over the world, I know many of us can relate. Some traditions we miss more than others…

For me, Swedish Midsummer has always been one of my favorite holidays, and one I’ve tried to carry with me wherever I go. But this was the first year since moving to Spain in 2023 that I was able to celebrate it properly.

And honestly, it made me a little emotional.

I’m so grateful for this community and for all the wonderful people who came together to celebrate, laugh, sing questionable Swedish drinking songs, play silly games, and embrace all the fun and weird traditions that come with Midsummer.

And a special thank you to for hosting and for making a traditional midsummer strawberry cake 🍰❤️

My hope is that this is just the beginning. That together we can continue sharing traditions from all over the world, learning from one another’s cultures, and creating new traditions of our own 🥰

We’re looking for part-time Barista & Community Ambassadors to join our team and help bring this to life.

This is *not a standard barista role*. You’d be the face of our community: greeting members, connecting with visitors, and sharing what makes this place special.

Barista experience? Great. Passion for people and community? Essential.
