Thank you to everyone who came to the shop today to celebrate my 25 years in business. It was so lovely to see the customers who have supported me from day 1 and the customers who have joined the journey along the way. I don't actually class you as customers, but friends who I have made along the way. Each and everyone of you has a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for the last 25 years, and just to let you know I'm not closing or going anywhere yet X # # #. Thank you again with all my heart without you I would not have made this milestone. Hello everyone. I am writing this to dispel any rumours that are circulating around at this moment in time. As many of you know I opened Fancy That on the 22nd June 1998. I was a lot younger at the time 😁 ,with a beautiful young daughter of 9 years old. As time progressed through great support from friends new and old the shop grew to what it is today. Over the last few years I have faced various health problems that thank God are in remission. With the support of Pete through the difficult times we have been able to keep the business thriving as it has been the heart of the community for many years. Last year I was able to take retirement but refrained . This year, this month Pete will reach 66 and next month I 67. With a sad heart I feel it is time for us to have some me time and to enjoy the Golden years together, therefore the decision has been taken to retire. This is why the For Sale or to Rent signs have been placed on the doors. We are not closing the doors. In my heart of hearts I hope that someone will see the opportunity to own an excellent business that is the hub of the community. Brexit has not stopped me being able to import from Britain. I have the EORI number to be able to do so. I know this has been one of the rumours circulating. We will carry on until we can find someone to replace us or as long as we can. I have enjoyed every minute of sharing life's experiences with you all. Facing the good and bad times together. Through the years we between us all have lost many friends and family and together have shared our losses. I look forward to the future and a new chapter in the book of life and hopefully will share it with you all . My love and best wishes . You haven't got rid of me yet 😁😁😁😁.
