"My mom & I are both conscious leaders IN Africa, FOR Africa, AND the world.

The only way Africa will rise to meet the targets, is if we are conscious & aware - there is always only a focus on the problems. We KNOW the negatives very well. Don't you agree? I'm interested in the solutions.

What if, for a change, we focussed on the things that make Africa great? And how these things can be our strengths and possible solutions? What if there was an initiative, that reflects Africa's innovation & resourcefulness for solutions?

What if we could make a small difference just by looking at possible solutions?

Every week we will showcase 'African Made' things, people, and places.

And, monthly - we will sit together to unpack, from each of our perspectives, what is & what will it take for 'Africa Rising' to become a reality, as we race towards the SDG's with only 9 years to go.

It's probably MY generation that will have to fix things anyway."

Intergenerational conversations, strategies, and approaches are critical to unlocking economic development across Africa.

Various generations have to find their way to each other in the 'maze' of all that is happening on the continent.

One of the most critical things happening, or needs to be happening is the focus & appreciation of 'African Made' - whether it's products, services or people, as we set a path of intra-Africa trade.

Africa Rising is an initiative by PABWA Pan African Business Women's Association & - to showcase weekly that which is made in Africa & will contribute to intra-Africa and global trade
.. AND monthly they will have an open conversation about how different generations can make 'Africa Rising' a reality.
