The Ministry of Transport and Logistics, together with the Ministry of Industry and UNECA, has officially launched Ethiopia’s National E-Mobility Strategy and Implementation Plan for 2025 – 2030.

By 2030, the plan targets over 2,200 public EV charging stations nationwide, including more than 1,100 charging centers in Addis Ababa, with fast chargers planned every 50 kilometers on major highways.
