Through the introduction of hydroponic and aeroponic systems, powered by AquaGrow technology, Innovate Future Africa, in partnership with Gudina Tumsa Foundation - GTF, envisions an efficient, scalable and consistent model that can help shift the country’s predominantly rain-fed and subsistence farming practices.
As the impacts of climate change are increasingly felt across the country and smallholder farmers become more vulnerable to shocks, this project aims to strengthen resilience while empowering local farmers through knowledge transfer in modern farming techniques and sustainable practices.
