Matei Zaharia, Professor at UC Berkeley and Cofounder/CTO of Databricks, has won the ACM Prize in Computing, donating the $250k Infosys prize to AddisCoder. We are extremely grateful for this gift, which we will use to advance our mission of increasing access in computer science.

It was an honor today to be visited by H.E. Prof. Berhanu Nega, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Minister of Education. The Ministry of Education Ethiopia has been one of AddisCoder’s close partners since 2016, and our impact would not be possible without this continued collaboration.
