Our recent site visit to the Swiss Embassy project offered a valuable opportunity to see a truly unique structural vision taking shape—one that reflects precision, performance, and thoughtful engineering at every level.

Our involvement spans from site investigation to final construction supervision, delivering integrated structural solutions tailored to the project’s complexity. Key unique features include waffle slabs (1.3m x 1.3m), a steel column–concrete beam composite moment-resisting frame with a hollow part accommodating roof drainage, and architectural concrete executed using environmentally responsible formwork release oil.

The project also incorporates a completely waterproof basement, a cantilevered canopy designed to enhance energy efficiency and thermal ambiance, and detailed deformation studies that directly informed the façade design—ensuring alignment between structural performance and architectural intent.

We are proud to collaborate with the Swiss Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics, RAAS Architects, WaltGalmarini AG, OLBH GmbH, Varnero Construction, and the talented local and international teams contributing to the successful delivery of this landmark project.
