Lund University continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe’s leading universities, ranking highest among Nordic universities in the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026.

“We conduct research and education that truly makes a difference. Being ranked the leading university in the Nordic region and #1 in the world for sustainability is both a recognition and a responsibility,” says Vice-Chancellor Erik Renström.

Lund University is ranked joint 12th in Europe, climbing one place from last year, in a ranking covering more than 950 universities across 42 countries. The results highlight the Nordic region’s strong performance, with Lund University as the clear regional leader. Lund also stands out for sustainability and reputation, ranking #1 in Europe for sustainability and holding the strongest employer brand among Nordic universities.

ESAN at the Great Ethiopian Run 2025! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🇪🇹

Members of the Ethio-Swedish Alumni Network (ESAN) proudly took part in the Great Ethiopian Run 2025, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year!

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of this iconic annual event in Addis. The energy, the fun, and the chance to connect with so many amazing people made the experience truly unforgettable.
