Happy Ethiopian New Year: Ubuntu in Action

As we welcome the Ethiopian New Year, Ubuntu Family Based Child Support Initiative (Ubuntu) is proud to announce its 11th round families to join Ubuntu as families. As part of our welcoming gesture to the new cohorts of families and to reach out to some needy families; we were able to provide food item supplies, for over 200 families with donations exceeding 400,000 Ethiopian Birr. We are also grateful to our regular partner, Ambo Mineral Water, for their generous contribution of 75,000 Birr toward this effort.

Since its establishment, Ubuntu has supported approximately 500 families in starting small businesses to generate sustainable income for their households. This year, we have identified 65 families to receive seed money, as well as school supplies and uniforms for their children, empowering them to build brighter futures.

Ubuntu Members, stakeholders, and partners thank you for being part of this journey with Ubuntu in transforming lives and strengthening communities. Happy Ethiopian New Year!

ኡቡንቱ የቤተሰብ አቀፍ የህፃናት መርጃ ማህበር ከ 2007 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ በአምቦ ከተማና ዙሪያዋ ለሚገኙ እናቶችና ወጣቶች የተለያዩያዩ የስራ እድል በመፍጠር እንዲሁም ህፃናቱን ወደ ትምህርት ገበታ በማስገባት የሰብአዊነት አሻራውን ሲያደርግ ቆይቶ እነሆ 10 አመት አስቆጠረ።

ኡቡንቱ ቤተሰብ አቀፍ የህፃናት መርጃ ማህበር እነሆ 10ኛ አመቱንም ምክንያት በማድረግ ግንቦት 16/2017 ከጠዋት 12:30 ጀምሮ በተለያዩ ዝግጅቶች ለማክበር አቅዷል።

በዚህም እለት

- ለኡቡንቱ እሮጣለው የሰብአዊነት ቤቱን ደግፋለው በሚል መሪቃል 5km የሩጫ ውድድር ከጠዋቱ 12:30 እንዲሁም ከጠዋቱ 3:00 ጀምሮ የእግርኳስ ውድድር ይከናወናል
