Kafna, Irob

Located in Haidile, Indalgeda of Irob, on the northern border with Senafe of Eritrea, Kafna is a high-altitude village in . At 2,700 meters above sea level, Kafna is optimum for goat breeding and fattening as well as honey bee production.

Some 3km northwest of and 5km west of , the rugged terrains of the area have a mild condition from the wind that blows across the valleys from the .

Kafna is one of the unlucky places of uninterrupted conflicts between the invading Eritrean forces and the Irob heroes and heroines (ዕጡቓት ሰንበት).
