Meet Simone Licari, Senior Manager of Product Management from Lucca, Italy! 🇮🇹 👋

Simone’s journey with us began back in 2004 after seeing an inspiring Valmet team in action. Today, he leads a dedicated group of Product Managers and Development Engineers creating the future of tissue technologies—many of whom are based in Sweden. Despite the distance, Simone keeps everyone connected through frequent check-ins and teamwork.

His leadership style is clear: enable others to succeed. “My role is to help my team perform at their best – removing obstacles and opening the right doors when needed.” 💙

Since joining Valmet in 2014, Sonal has grown from a Project Quotation engineer to leading a team for the Europe market. She loves working with colleagues and customers around the globe – like the time she teamed up with a customer in Japan for over two months!
