Tricia Weener shared plenty of practical, real-life examples on how they execute KONE’s purpose of improving the urban life. Reaching the competitive advantage requires first and foremost ruthless prioritisation.

Panel discussion with Ola Ottosson from ICA, Martin Östergren from Agria & Eija-Leena Koponen, Data & ML entrepreneur covered the fairly new concept of data literacy.

Demystifying the concept enables better understanding of the purpose behind being data-driven and unifies vision.

Tuomas Airisto from Sanoma Media Finland highlighted that even though becoming data-driven can seem complex, the roadmap starts from you. Being brave, using some imagination and being original carries a long way.

Johan Gertell spoke about Mathems journey from start-up to scale-up, as well as how the largest online grocery store with home delivery is taking the ‘’Algo leap’’. Johan believes when you’re in the convenience business, your delivery offer is the key.

Mathem is really proud of the knowledge gained from Algo and how it has helped them in areas such as forecasting of demand. The positive outcomes also provide opportunities for learning and improvement.

”It’s always better to do something and make a mistake than to do nothing at all”.

Lena Lindgren from Telia pointed out while talking about personalization at scale and their various automated customer journeys. Customer Data Platform can help you automate your data and there are recognizable reasons you should act on it.

Opening the event, Emma Storbacka talked us through on how to ‘stop the dutt’ and lead personalisation initiatives by numbers. To be able to scale, there needs to be a stable balance between results orientation, customer centricity and operational efficiency.
