Katerina is so good at what she does that if you don’t know by now (you will never ever ever ever know). That was a modified Simply Red quote (in case you missed it). As you probably know she runs the exquisite Émotsiya label and her music has come out on Hivern Discs, Cómeme, Rhythm Section and TIGERSUSHI RECORDS (big CV).

MILK (MILK - On Air) is a creamy DJ duo made up of Janne X and Mr.A. Legends, LEGENDS. Mr. A has been on the forefront of club night Rebels, bringing in the likes of Roi Perez, Derrick Carter, Virginia and more. Huh? Yup. Janne X was behind the crazy party concept F*g You that ran for over 10 years and which basically achieved cult status among Helsinki’s nightlife creatures.

Jokki, your mom’s favorite. An absolute sweetheart. From that Better Things to Do f(l)ame. True to the game and never the same.

Local Deep's local favorite Hilla Liila keeps it techy, groovey, and sweaty. Badabim badabum. Check it.

We won’t say that Friday is strictly about techno, but neither would that be too far from the truth.

Helsinki-based, globally embraced Samuli Kemppi is one of Finland’s finest dance music proponents. Together with Juho Kusti they’ve been doing exceptional work in and around techno in Helsinki for at least 15 years or so through Deep Space Helsinki, not to mention the vast amount of Youtube videos Kemppi has been putting out recently where he uncovers some of the methods of his producing.

Long time deejay Rigid, another staple of our town, has earned his place through UG collective Sewage and now defunct UPM11. Uncompromising and fully dedicated, Rigid is friggin’ ready.

Laura MRLS is the co-founder of event and podcast series SYNAĒ and a resident at techno multi-platform Monument. As a proponent of darker sounds, Laura finds comfort through layered sonic fabrics, adding into what is in the best of cases a mystic sensory experience.
