Armi Harmio is a singer-songwriter and performer whose music blends the Finnish
pop tradition, a vintage-inspired soundscape, and strong melodies with
a modern and experimental style, resulting in a distinctive and timeless
body of work.

At the heart of her artistic work is a desire to stay off the beaten path and address
topical, often unspoken themes. Her songs explore topics such as
neurodiversity, inequality, and even death, but by wrapping them in
in an energetic, captivating style, Harmio makes these somber topics
easier to experience and more approachable.

Armi Harmio’s debut album, Surumielinen sateen kastelema (2024), received
a warm reception. Her second album will be released in the fall of 2026. Aesthetics play
an important role in Harmio’s performances, and on stage she is often seen
in stunning, carefully curated outfits in various shades of red.
