⛪ Flora || The Kaleva Church, Tampere
For the Tampere Festival of Light in November 2023, Sun Effects transformed the Kaleva Church into an eight-minute audiovisual artwork combining video projection, music, and light. ✨
ℹ️ Tampere Festival of Light – first organized in 1966 – is an annual festival that illuminates the city with a collection of light art and projections. Video design for ’Flora’ by Janne Ahola, music by Tommi Toivonen, lighting design by Sami Rautaneva.
Back in 2021–2022, Finland was among 190+ nations at Expo 2020 Dubai – the first World Expo held in the Middle East. 🌍✨
Sun Effects was responsible for the lighting, sound, and video design of the Finland Pavilion, Snow Cape. With the theme 'Sharing Future Happiness', the pavilion became a symbiosis of people, nature, and technology – offering over 1 million visitors an immersive dive into Finnish values: happiness, sustainability, circular economy, and innovation. 🇫🇮💡🌿

ℹ️ The Finland Pavilion, Snow Cape, was designed by JKMM Architects in collaboration with Sun Effects, Futudesign, and Flatlight Creative House, and built by Audico and Goljat.
