🇺🇸 A new toy has found the way to my workshop !! It is an EMCOMAT 7 lathe with its milling accessory ! It has only worked with wood.. I will need to clean it seriously before repairing some broken gears ! Let’s go !!

🇫🇷 Un nouveau jouet a trouvé le chemin de mon atelier… Il s’agit d’un tour EMCOMAT 7 équipé de sa colonne de fraisage. Il n’a travaillé que du bois et aura donc besoin d’un gros gros nettoyage avant de pouvoir envisager la reparation des quelques pièces cassées ou manquantes. C’est parti !!!

🇺🇸Before continuing my lapping adventure on this DIY granite plate, I have built a very useful tool that will show me when I will approach the perfect flatness : a kind of big spherometer !! I measured with Blender3d the theoretical value of the deviation of my plate, and adjusted the comparator to the same value. Finally I confirmed the adjustment by measuring my big black granite plate. It showed 0,000 mm so that works ! Ready…. GO !!!! 👌😂

🇫🇷avant de continuer ma petite aventure de rodage j’ai fabriqué un nouvel outil de contrôle très pratique : un gros spherometre !!! Cet outil me montrera quand j’approcherai de la planéité parfaite. J’ai mesuré sur Blender 3d la déviation théorique de mon marbre, puis j’ai réglé mon comparateur avec la même valeur. J’ai validé la methode en plaçant ensuite l’oitil sur mon gros marbre en granite noir : la montre affiche 0,000mm => ca confirme la methode, parfait !!! Prêt….GO !!! 👌😂

🇺🇸 PROJECT ACHIEVED !! My last release of DIY tool grinder is now achieved and nearly all its accessories have come with the same matte black paint ! Here are some photos of it, I am so happy with the result that I wanted to share it with you !!! 😍😍😍
