MIXSCIENCE ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF JEAN-MARC SALAUN AS MANAGING DIRECTOR.

In his new role, he will join the Management Committee of the domain “Avril Solutions for Agriculture” and will be responsible for accelerating the development of miXscience's activities in France and abroad, and rolling out the 2027 strategic plan.

Jean-Marc Salaun: "With nearly 25 years' experience serving the animal industry in both genetics and nutrition, I intend to draw on the very high level of expertise of miXscience's 500 women and men in France and abroad to deploy our 2027 strategic plan. Our ambition, which is perfectly in line with Avril's raison d'être: "Serving the earth", is to make miXscience a world-renowned player in the development of alternative solutions for sustainable, technically and economically efficient animal farming."

Jean-Marc Salaun biography:
Son of a farmer and a engineer of Institut polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais, Jean-Marc SALAUN joined the Avril Group in 2009. For the past 9 years, Jean-Marc Salaun has been in charge of Mixscience's Species and Nutrition division, and for the past 6 years, of the Feed Specialties EMEA Business Line. Prior to this, Jean-Marc had 10 years' experience in the animal genetics sector with the EVOLUTION group.
