4 years ago, we had this fantastic review, and in a few months, there'll be a whole new Spygenius album coming out. Maybe we'll get best of 2026! Ooer! Watch this space!

MANGUE DO ROCK of Rio De Janeiro adds Canterbury, England's SPYGENIUS to their Best of 2022 Playlist, with music from the new album "Jobbernowl" (out now: https://orcd.co/spygenius-jobbernowl) and has these comments: "Sound based on 1960s rock, but with elements of 1970s psychedelia and 1990s indie movement. The result of the mix produced the new album by the British Spygenius... filled with songs with incredibly well-constructed arrangements and harmonies. On Friday night, we played The Magic Lantern Cinema. Thanks so much to everyone who made this happen - particularly Kimberley Rew and Lee Cave-Berry for organising it and to Kim and Lee and Sandy for being such INCREDIBLE hosts, to the Magic Lantern and staff for their FANTASTIC venue, to the Caper Clowns for playing a great set with us, to Rasmus Almlund for selling as our drummer and playing truly EXCELLENT drums, and to everyone who came out to watch us all! You have a really lovely town!
